Alaric Strengthens International Operations in Asia Pacific

 

(Kuala Lumpur, 9th October 2009) -- Alaric's expansion into the Asia Pacific region has accelerated with the opening of a new regional headquarters in Kuala Lumpur and the establishment of an Australian subsidiary based in Melbourne.

The new office in Kuala Lumpur houses the company's headquarters for its activities in Australia and the Middle East. The company is launching a new, outsourced Application Management service from Kuala Lumpur whereby Alaric will not only provide global 7x24 maintenance for its market leading Authentic and Fractals software products, but also proactively monitor the applications on behalf of clients.

"The high degree of configurability of our applications means that new interfaces and channels to market can be built in just days by our experienced staff," said Alaric's Regional Director for Asia Pacific, Peter Parke. "Some clients do this themselves and we are happy to see them remain independent, but others prefer us to do this for them. The new Application Management Group enables us to offer clients business system administration services at highly competitive rates."

Alaric now has 15 staff in the Asia Pacific region and plans to double this number in the next year. In recent months, Alaric has signed three new customers in Australia and Kuwait and has concluded a major deal with a global airline company to supply a payments hub based on its Authentic system supported by the Kuala Lumpur -based Application Management service.
